Fear is the emotional response to a real or perceived threat in the future. Anxiety or uneasiness is preoccupation with something that is about to happen. Worry always brings us the worst. Because after a worry, we tend to think about the bad things. There we miss even good things.
It can occur even in childhood, and can persist if left untreated. This is more common in women than men. There is no specific age or time for anxiety. It can arise and increase or disappear at any time. Sometimes this can worsen if left untreated for long periods of time.
