01. Put Your Feet Up

Varicose veins are caused by pooling of blood in the veins. To avoid this, lie in a couch, bed or on the floor or in an easy-chair and keep your legs above chest level. You can lie on the bed and put your legs on the wall. It will help your pooled blood flow back down towards the heart.

02. Centella asiatica

Since ancient times, in countries like India and China, Gotukola (Centella asiatica) has been used to treat various conditions. Some small studies have found that Gotukola makes blood circulation easier. Also, it is said that Gotukola has the ability to strengthen the blood vessels and the tissues around the veins.

Gotukola can be made as sambal and eaten with rice. It is very delicious. You can also use gotukola as gruel and drink it with a piece of jaggery. If you can drink this gruel every day in the morning, it is very good for your health.

03. Vitamin C

Take Vitamin C daily. By helping to keep your connective tissue strong, these vitamins can help get rid of varicose veins. 500mg – 1,000mg per day is enough.

04. Hot and Cold Water

Run hot and cold water over your legs. With alternating temperatures, blood vessels expand and contract, improving blood circulation. Next time you’re standing in the shower, direct the water stream onto your legs and run hot water for one to three minutes. Then switch to cold for the same length of time. Repeat three times, ending with cold.

If your varicose veins are large, you’ll need graduated compression stockings. These are tight at the ankle and somewhat looser further up the leg. That graduated pressure helps to push blood upward toward the heart. Try to find more specialized stockings instead of fashion ones at a local medical supply store or online.

06. Avoid Too Much Sitting or Standing

If you are someone who sits all day, get up and walk a few steps every hour or two. Also, if you are a person who stands all day, sit down and take a break as soon as you get a chance. Even if you work as a teacher, you may be standing for a long time during the day.

07. Massage Gently

If you can massage your feet with any type of massage oil, it will be a great help in preventing varicose veins. Also, take a piece of cloth soaked in hot water and heat it well on the places where the veins are knotted.

08. Exercise

You can try some leg exercises. But not too strenuous serious exercises. Simple exercises that relax the legs are best. If you can try yoga exercises, it will be very good for your mind as well as your body. Also, it can increase the flexibility of your body.
