10 Reasons Why Introverts Are More Likely To Succeed

Some people have a misconception that introverts cannot succeed and only extroverts can succeed. There are more extroverts in the world, so relatively more extroverts may be successful. But the list of successful introverts is not short.

Elon Musk, Gautam Adani, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Barack Obama, J.K. Rowling, Vladimir Putin, Albert Einstein, Emma Watson, there are many successful introverts in different fields.

There is something remarkable here. At first glance, extroverts achieve more career success than introverts, but most of the people who fall into the category of limited excellence are introverts.

Accordingly, it is a fact that introverts quietly become extremely successful in the world. But sometimes because of their personality, they are hidden from the society.

Let’s examine who introverts really are and what are the reasons, behaviors, abilities, etc. that influence them to excel.

What is an Introvert?

Introvert and extrovert are two different personality types. Introverts have different traits that are unique to them. Not all introverts are 100% alike.

The way introverts can be identified is that they are very less social people. Introverts are another group of people who live on their own state of mind and who seem strange to other people in society.

Relatively introverts are people who are quiet, prefer to spend time alone, and try to live apart from social networks. They value solitude more than most social gatherings.

They are quiet but that silence does not mean that they do not have the ability to speak well. Despite being introverts, there are some very gifted speakers.

They are a group of people who value listening more than talking. They can listen to a person very well. And they are a group of people who are more empathetic than extroverts.

Introverts limit their circle to very few people. Being in the crowd is really tiring for them. It takes away their mental freedom.

But introverts are very honest and loyal people who try hard to protect the few bonds they have. Also, they are very principled people.

People cannot be trusted. They change quickly. But introverts don’t change easily because they adhere to rigidly fixed patterns of behavior. If they make a promise, they keep it. They are very reliable.

01. Intense Imagination

Introverts tend to be less social. Also their minds are often free, and it is their habit to imagine deeply about many things.

When they visualize different things, they see their shortcomings, faults, errors. And new ideas, methods, simplifications, shortcuts come to their mind.

There they see various business opportunities, various social problems, organizational problems etc. Also, they foresee various problems and uncertainties that may arise in the future.

02. Creativity

Due to their intense imagination, they are very creative people. In their imaginary world, they can create and destroy many things as they wish. They have the ability to change things as they wish.

At the same time creative solutions to various social problems and organizational problems come to mind. Business-minded introverts earn millions by turning those ideas into businesses.

Also, in their creativity, they can find easy shortcuts to do some difficult things. Also, along with this, they have the ability to do many things neatly and beautifully.

03. Talking Less Than Listening

Introverts are quiet characters and are therefore good listeners. They have the patience to listen to anyone’s opinion. Also, such students also listen to teachers carefully while learning.

When a person is about to say something, they become silent, giving the person a chance to speak. Not all introverts are like this. But the majority are like this.

04. Organizing Words Before Speaking

As well as listening carefully, they use words more carefully when speaking. They usually organize what they want to talk about before they speak. Then they speak more clearly. The listener is impressed by the way they speak.

But often they don’t talk much. A few things will be said very briefly. Also, they sometimes think that they should not say what they think, and remain silent.

They try not to say certain things because they think that the other person will not value or misunderstand what they are about to say.

05. Purposeful

They live with a purpose. They know what they have to do. They know what they want. And they know the way they should go.

As mentioned earlier, they are silent, so no one often knows their purpose. Sometimes the society thinks of them as people who waste time without any purpose or work.

But the real story is that they are on their way to success by quietly doing everything they need to do to achieve their goals.

But like extroverts, they don’t tell everyone about themselves, what they do, and their dreams. They have no need to publicize these personal goals and acquisitions.

06. Planning Before Acting

People usually work without any plan. Some people are reluctant to stick to a plan. But introverts plan everything well before doing it.

People are unable to decide what they are doing, unable to manage, unable to decide the future due to lack of planning. But these people do everything according to a very formal plan.

So what they do is more likely to succeed. When creating a plan, they are also concerned about future uncertainties, so they prepare for those things in advance.

Also, they are often very effective at managing time. And they are good at allocating time more efficiently for related duties. Therefore, they can finish their work on time.

07. Self-discipline

They are more self-disciplined people with traits such as spending time alone, having few friends, being principled, and having a plan.

They do not try to work outside their norms and habits. Because they are bound to a very fixed state of mind. They know what to do and know how to do it, so they don’t go astray on what other people say.

Because of this self-discipline, they have a strong ability to stick to a plan and work under it. They don’t need to be guided or pushed by anyone to do so.

Also, they make very few mistakes. Because on the one hand they are principled, on the other hand they work in a planned way, and they are very methodical.

08. Reliability

Because of their fixed state of mind and being principled, they do not change often. Once they give their word, they don’t change it. They promise only if they can keep that promise.

Also, they are honest and speak clearly, which makes anyone trust them. Trust is very important. Most people in today’s society are liars and cheaters.

A trustworthy person can be entrusted with any duty without fear, and even a loan can be given without fear. Once given a job, there is no need to worry that they will do it badly, they will do it well, if they can’t do it, they will not accept the job.

Once the money is taken, the lender does not have any suspicion that the payment has been defaulted. Even in a relationship, there is no room left to think that the person is cheating.

09. Leadership Skills

While most leaders are extroverts, some of the best leaders are introverts. They have unique leadership qualities. Also, due to their sympathetic quality, they understand their subordinates well.

Subordinates prefer to work under leaders who understand them and give them freedom to work. So the purpose of a team led by such a leader is definite, results are high and success is inevitable.

They don’t use rules to control their subordinates, they are good leaders who guide people in the right direction easily with words and gestures.

Sometimes they don’t have to say anything to their subordinates, even if they give one gesture, the subordinates fulfill the relevant duty.

10. Awareness and Prudence

Their minds are often free because they like to spend time alone. Therefore, they are a group of people who spend their time very mindfully. You can learn how to be mindful in the article “6 Easy Tips to Live Consciously and Mindfully“.

They work with a good awareness of what they do and what they should do. Also, they seem wiser because they follow a plan. Such a person has very little chance of failure.

Even after they reach their goals, they don’t talk about it everywhere. That’s why people think they can’t succeed. But they are quietly on their way to success.
